Last week we were totally convinced that Cheryl Cole and dancer Derek Hough were a loved-up couple. However, it now seems that their apparent relationship may be a cover-up.
“It’s all just a cover-up to keep photographers at bay,” he added.
Hmm. We’re still not sure – fair enough, we haven’t seen them kiss publicly, or even hold hands, but the amount of time they have spent together in recent months has us wondering.
They holidayed together in Tanzania, and Derek stayed loyally by Cheryl’s side while she recovered from malaria. He also kept her company after her separation from husband Ashley. They have recently been photographed together shopping and having dinner.
We were really excited last week when X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman claimed they were a couple: “I thought they would make a good couple and I’m so pleased to say they do. They’re very, very cute together.”
We’re officially confused. Are they, or aren’t they?
Abbey Clancy cancelled a TV appearance on today’s This Morning, reportedly due to her turmoil following fiancé Peter Crouch’s alleged infidelity.
Last week, a teen prostitute claimed Peter paid around £800 for her services in Madrid. A few days after that bombshell, photos were released in News of the World of the Spurs striker chatting with a couple of women in a club while on holiday with Abbey. Another woman from the same club labelled him a “sex pest” after she claimed he groped her.
The WAG is said to have taken off her engagement ring, and is now can’t face appearing on live TV.
The pair, who have been engaged since last summer, met up on Sunday night to discuss their future.
Will they stick together? Should Abbey stand by her man? Share your opinions by posting below!
Crikey! We never thought we’d see Jedward looking so, well, handsome! You have to admit the twins do look pretty decent topless and smouldering. You can almost forget how crazy they really are. Almost.
X Factor’s loudest pair posted this picture on their Twitter page, declaring: “YOU ASKED FOR IT WE GAVE IT”.
What were people asking for, a removal of their humongous quiffs?!
We think they look better without quiffs, if anybody asks…
Abbey Clancy has fled to Spain to be with her mum following the news of fiancé Peter Crouch’s alleged infidelities.
The England striker, who has been engaged to the model for 13 months, reportedly cheated on Abbey with a teen prostitute while at a friend’s stag party in July, shortly after the couple were spotted on a romantic holiday together.
The 29-year-old footballer allegedly paid 19-year-old Monica Mint £800 to perform sexual acts on him in a taxi and at a hotel.
Abbey, 24, is said to be struggling with the news and is deciding what to do about their future. She has been spotted without her engagement ring on, but there is no indication yet as to what will happen to the couple. Peter has temporarily moved out of their Surrey home to live with his parents.
The 6ft 7in sportsman is the latest in a line of disgraced footballers, including John Terry and Ashley Cole, who have cheated on their partners with other women. Abbey was spotted earlier this week seeking advice from John Terry’s wife Toni, who famously reconciled with her shamed husband after his alleged infidelities.
They have been together since 2006.
The 25-year-old singer finally put us out of our misery (we’ve been wondering for a while!) and claimed that yes, she is expecting: “It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted.”
There had been rumours she was expecting a baby since she announced she would be retiring from music to focus on other things. She was also photographed at Wireless Festival with a suspicious looking bump under her outfit!
The pop star, who is three months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, previously suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant by Ed Simons, one half of dance duo the Chemical Brothers.
Congratulations to Lily and Sam!
Orlando, 33, and his model wife Miranda, 27, wed in Los Angeles recently in a secret ceremony. The news of their intimate nuptials was released by the Australian department store David Jones, where Miranda works.
Reports are now claiming that the loved-up newlyweds are expecting the pitter-patter of tiny feet. According to a source from the hotel they honeymooned in, Orlando revealed that his bride is pregnant with their first child. However, they have yet to officially confirm the pregnancy.
How much do you want to bet it’ll be the most gorgeous offspring ever? Look at that incredible gene pool…
On 16 July, at London’s Dukes Meadows Golf Club, a whole host of our favourite celebs put on their best golfing gear and knocked some white balls around in the name of charity, and it was all sponsored by Bing.
Hugh Grant, Rob Brydon, Phil Glenister, Tim Henman and James Nesbitt were among the stars at the charity event organised by Dougray Scott to raise money for leukaemia research organisation Leuka.
The annual event, now in its third year, has been described by Scott as a “summer garden party with live music and golf”.
On the day, former tennis ace Tim Henman humorously admitted that he ‘prefers hitting golf balls to tennis balls’, and Hugh Grant somewhat immodestly claimed he is ‘fabulous’ at golf. Hmm, don’t give up the day job, Hugh!
However, comedian Rob Brydon didn’t have any trouble owning up to his shortcomings – on his Twitter page he later admitted he played “brilliantly badly”. At least he’s honest…
The guests at the event who weren’t playing the game were treated to the gourmet barbecue, complimentary drinks from the many on-course bars and live music from the Jagermeister rock stage. All proceeds, of course, went to charity,
Watch our exclusive video from the day, including interviews with the charitable stars.
The Sun has reported that Lady Gaga is in the middle of a bidding war between two major tea manufacturers, including English brand Twinings. Apart from The Queen, the singer is the most famous tea drinker in the world, and her marketable name and image would no doubt boost sales for a waning industry.
There are also rumours that she’ll have her own range of flavours to make tea drinking fashionable again.
Lady Gaga famously took her teacup and saucer with her when she was interviewed by Jonathan Ross last year, and Elton John recently gave her a vintage teapot as a gift.
We never tire of tea and we never tire of Lady Gaga, so we’re all for it!
Her musical efforts might have bombed this weekend, but Katie Price was all-smiles at the Mahiki Rum Celebrity and Royal polo match.
The reality TV star was among a host of celebs, including Professor Green, Ruby Wax, Ronnie Wood and Mollie King from The Saturdays, to turn up the high-profile event, held at Hurtwood Park in Surrey.
Prince Harry also made an appearance and played with his team raising money for his charity Sentebale. while everyone else sipped on fancy cocktails.
Check out the pictures below of the stars at the fun-filled event!
Prince Harry got stuck in!
Musician Professor Green holds a unique pineapple rum cocktail while he watches the polo.

Cheryl Cole has reportedly been warned by doctors to stop dieting and to take better care of herself to recover fully from malaria.
The singer, who was struck down with the potentially fatal illness after holidaying in Tanzania last month, has been in hospital for over a week battling the disease. Before being admitted to hospital, she collapsed at a photo shoot where it was initially suspected she was suffering from exhaustion.
However, it was later discovered she had contracted malaria after being bitten by a mosquito. As the trip was a last-minute getaway with her friend Derek Hough, she failed to get the necessary injections to protect her from the tropical disease.
Dancing With the Stars winner Derek, who is allegedly dating Cheryl, has said he feels responsible for her condition: “I blame myself for all of this. I convinced Cheryl to come on holiday with me to Tanzania. We might have gone somewhere else if it had been up to her.”
The X Factor judge will miss the Boot Camp stage of the show, and she will also be unable to perform at V Festival in August.
Doctors taking care of the 27-year-old have warned she’ll need to stop dieting and take up yoga to aid her recovery. She famously follows the blood type diet, which means restricting some foods to help keep her in shape.
Her dad, Gary Tweedy, has claimed he doesn’t know how long it will take her to recover: “We don’t know how long she’ll be in hospital, I don’t think the doctors know. We’re just all so relieved she’s all right." However, he added that she is “on the mend”.
Get well soon, Cheryl! X Factor won’t be the same without you!
